Close card - Framnex for Developers

Early access - contact your account manager to enable cards for your organization.

Closes a card permanently, for example when it is lost, stolen or no longer needed. A closed card cannot be used or reopened; issue a new card instead. Merchants can still complete payments that were authorized before the card was closed.

Set reason to lost or stolen if the card may be misused. Closing the last card does not close the card account, and its balance remains available.

The response contains the card in the closed state, and the cardStateChanged webhook is sent.

Errors: 404 Not Found if the card does not exist; 422 Unprocessable Content if the card is issuing, rejected or already closed.
